Metallica Announces 2026 Concert in Poland

Metallica - the band famous for their tremendous stage presence, and who have already agreed to perform in Poland in 2026. Although the band’s current run is winding down, James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo are already gearing up for their next. Fans can mark their calendars—Metallica will play in Poland on May 19, 2026, at the Silesian Stadium in Chorzów.

A Decadeslong Bond With Poland
Metallica played in Poland for the first time in 1987 (two Katowice gigs). Since then the band has built up an affinity with Polish fans and performed there 14 times. The forthcoming gig will be their 15th in Poland and the fourth at Silesian Stadium, having appeared there in 1991, 2004, and 2008.


Rumors of the 2026 concert started last month when promotional materials hinted at another concert since the band’s two July 2024 shows at the National Stadium. Now, the official announcement confirms fans’ suspicions.


How much are the tickets and when is the pre-sale?
Pre-sale tickets for the 2026 Chorzów concert went on sale on Tuesday, May 27, via the band’s official website. The ticket sales range was also unveiled in the early access period allowing fans to plan for what’s sure to be another historic Metallica performance.


Further ticket sale phases and new event information are expected to be announced in the coming months, but anticipation for another epic and unforgettable live experience with one of the world’s greatest rock bands is already front of mind for Polish fans.
