Stubb Asks Musk To Expand Starlink For Ukraine

Finnish President Alexander Stubb revealed on Thursday that he had personally appealed to SpaceX chief Elon Musk to extend Starlink satellite internet coverage so Ukraine could target Russian ballistic missile launchers sitting inside Russian territory. With colder months approaching, Kyiv is grappling with a severe shortage of air defense capabilities needed to fend off these missile attacks, and officials there believe activating Starlink over Russian soil would give them a better shot at hitting the launchers responsible for firing them.
