Pajor Leads the Way
The Polish forward scored in the sixth minute of the game after just six minutes of play when she placed a simple shot into the back of the net from close range. After making a great run through the Real Madrid defence to create space for herself, Pajor was on hand to finish the team move and give Barcelona a 1-0 lead.

Pajor would add to her tally early in the second half, placing a second goal into the bottom right corner of the goal. After doing what she was brought on for, Pajor was substituted around the hour mark, but by that point, she had already established herself as one of the most influential players in the match and had given Barcelona a commanding lead.

Barcelona is in a Great Position
With this result, Barcelona holds a huge advantage heading into the second leg of their UEFA Women's Champions League quarter-final on April 2 at the Camp Nou. Based on their current form and their significant victory over Real Madrid, Barcelona has an excellent chance of progressing to the next round.

In the Champions League, Pajor has now scored six goals, which puts her one behind the leader in the scoring charts, Alessia Russo, who has eight.

Pajor Ties the Record in El Clásico
In addition to being a big part of her team's success in Europe, Pajor has been a key player in the El Clásico rivalry. Since signing with Barcelona in 2024, she has now scored 13 goals against Real Madrid in all competitions and is tied with Barcelona legend Alexia Putellas as the all-time leading scorer in the history of women's El Clásico. Pajor's record against Real Madrid is indicative of how quickly she has established herself as a key player for Barcelona.
