Defending champions Poland continue to look untouchable at the European Championship, cruising past Ukraine in straight sets to make it four wins from four in the group stage. The victory keeps them firmly on top of the standings heading into the final round of group matches.

Dominant Display in Sofia
Poland's men in red and white put on another commanding performance on Tuesday, sealing a 3-0 win in Sofia by set scores of 25-20, 25-13, and 25-22. It was a comprehensive display from start to finish, with Ukraine never really finding a way to disrupt Poland's rhythm.
A Flawless Run So Far
What makes Poland's campaign even more impressive is that they haven't dropped a single set through four matches. Before beating Ukraine, the defending champions had already swept past Portugal, Israel, and North Macedonia, all by identical 3-0 scorelines. That kind of consistency has kept them among the favourites to lift the trophy once again this year.
Up next for Poland is a clash against tournament hosts Bulgaria, which will wrap up their group-stage schedule on Wednesday. Given their form so far, few will fancy Bulgaria's chances of ending that perfect run.
It's also worth remembering that Poland aren't strangers to European success. They claimed their second continental title back in 2023, defeating host nation Italy 3-0 in the final held in Rome.
