Kyiv Sees Fires and Repeated Air Raid Alerts
The attack wasn't limited to Zaporizhzhia. Air raid sirens also rang out across Kyiv, where the city's military administration reported that warehouses in a central district had caught fire. One person was hurt in the incident, officials said.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed that medical teams were sent to the affected central district to respond to the damage and help anyone injured. Witnesses in the city said they heard explosions ring out as the attack unfolded, adding to the tension already gripping the capital.

The air raid alert in Kyiv didn't last long the first time around, lifting after about 40 minutes. But the relief was short-lived. Well past midnight, sirens sounded once again, signaling another possible threat and keeping residents on edge through the night.
