The second day of the Sopot Hit Festival in the Forest Opera is the concert which will be in honor of Beata Kozidrak. But when the famous vocalist of the Bajm band was unable to appear during "Gdzie się dziady tamte prywatki," her iconic song "Biała Armia" was performed by the collective, already on stage at the beginning of the concert. The emotional conclusion was full of solidarity and praise, with the audience and artists alike singing in tribute to the missing star.

Artists Unite on a Stage That's Missing Drozda
From the stage, Paulina Sykut-Jeżyna and Krzysztof Ibisz addressed Kozidrak in person, with words of support and admiration. "We couldn't have Beata with us today, but we couldn't miss her hits! We give you lots of positive vibes with this one! We stand with you," added Sykut-Jeżyna. Ibisz said, "Beata, to my White Army it's us!"
The epic also included performances by Kuba Badach, Gabriel Fleszar, Urszula, Artur Gadowski and Grzegorz Skawiński. The fact that the audience could all together sing the chorus of "Biała Armia" was very moving. But Tadeusz Drozda was not a part of the tribute and revealed why he wasn't there.
Drozda's Honest Explanation
Tadeusz Drozda confessed that he had not entered as he was not familiar with the song. The expectation was that, as a popular song, he knew it by heart but he had never much cared for songs, he explained. He also said there was no time to memorize the lyrics. "We go through the whole thing, and the director says, 'What? Too bad, we have a lot of artists, I'll give you a pass,'" Drozda said.
Although not on stage, Drozda wished Beaty Kozidrak well. "A great woman," he added, expressing his respect and good will.
