Russian Airstrike on Kyiv Kills Six, Dozens Injured

An early Monday morning missile and drone attack on Kyiv by Russia killed at least six people and wounded more than a dozen others, Ukrainian officials said. The assault, which started at about 1 a.m. and continued for more than three hours, wreaked havoc in the residential areas.

Houses and Shelters Hit
A residential block collapsed during the strike, killing an unknown number of people, according to Ukraine’s State Emergency Services. Others are thought to be still under the rubble. He said more than 400 emergency workers had been deployed at two sites to carry out search and rescue operations.

The head of Kyiv’s military administration, Timur Tkachenko, said the attack targeted civilians. He reported that the strikes were hitting residential buildings and even exits from metro stations used as bomb shelters.
“The Russians’ style hasn’t changed — to aim at where there may be people,” he said on Telegram.

Strikes Spread Beyond Kyiv
Outside the capital, at least one person, a 68-year-old woman, was killed and at least eight others were injured, according to a regional governor.

The new attack comes after a vow from Russian President Vladimir Putin that he would revenge after conflict ukraine Ukraine  russia flew drones against Russia ukraine  long-range bomber fleet.
