The Polish speaker of the Senate, Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, will receive her French and German counterparts, Gérard Larcher and Anke Rehlinger, at the Polish parliament. Also due to attend by video link is Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament Ruslan Stefanchuk.

The summit is coming just a day after Kidawa-Błońska held bilateral talks with Larcher over expanding the role of the Weimar Triangle in the context of the changing geopolitical realities. She ensured her French counterpart that the outcome of Poland's recent presidential elections would not affect relations or joint parliament work.

The Weimar Triangle was established in 1991 to facilitate political collaboration between Poland, France, and Germany, the most important players in Central and Western Europe. This latest gathering represents a fresh attempt to exploit the platform to respond to continuing regional challenges, such as backing for Ukraine and defining the EU's strategic orientation.
