Polish Tourist Killed in Mauritius Seaplane Crash Near Reef

A 25-year-old Polish tourist has lost their life following a seaplane crash off the coast of Mauritius on Tuesday afternoon. An autopsy conducted following the incident determined that the Polish tourist died from asphyxiation caused by drowning, providing clarity on the immediate cause of death while the broader circumstances of the crash itself remain unknown. The reason the aircraft went down has not yet been established, and no information about what took place in the moments before the crash has been made publicly available.

An Investigation Now Underway
Mauritian authorities have launched an investigation into what caused the seaplane to crash.
