This follows an official protest filed by Krzysztof Kontek Krajowa and Joanna Staniszkis against serious factional voting inconsistencies.

Supreme Court Review ‘Haunted’ by Other Cases’s Deadlines
These protests, Bodnar said, the Supreme Court forwarded to his office on June 23, 2025, and his office was given until the end of June 25 to reply to them. As the court is poised to determine the legitimacy of the election’s result, the Civic Platform (KO) party has intensified its resistance to Karol Nawrocki’s victory against RafaÅ‚ Trzaskowski. Bodnar’s most recent motion lends substance to those complaining about the election results.

Kontek's Report Stirs Controversy
One of the challenges is based on a report from Dr. Krzysztof Kontek saying there were irregularities during the second round of voting. His investigation cited improprieties in up to 1,482 precincts, which might have resulted in 315,000 to 487,000 phantom votes for Nawrocki.

Despite the report being criticized for its methodology by several experts, Bodnar said the arguments made by protesters are “based on a scientifically verifiable method.”

Further defending his position, Bodnar stated that his amendment does mirror the numbers outlined in Kontek’s report and stressed the importance of maintaining transparency during the election issue.
