Wojciech Jabłoński, a spokesperson for the local police, stated that the man first shot the woman before taking his own life. The firearm believed to have been used in the incident has been recovered at the scene.

Preliminary information indicates that the incident may have started outside an apartment block and ended inside the building. However, officials have not yet released further details, noting that it is still too early in the investigation.

The deceased individuals have been identified as a 55-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman, both of whom were Polish nationals. The type of weapon used in the shooting has not been disclosed.
