A tragic incident occurred early Tuesday morning in the Stabłowice area of Wrocław, western Poland, where a man and a woman were found dead following reports of gunfire. The event unfolded around 6:00 a.m. and is currently being investigated by local authorities.
Murder-Suicide Suspected
According to the police, initial findings suggest the case is being treated as a murder-suicide. Wojciech Jabłoński, a spokesperson for the local police, stated that the man first shot the woman before taking his own life. The firearm believed to have been used in the incident has been recovered at the scene.
Preliminary information indicates that the incident may have started outside an apartment block and ended inside the building. However, officials have not yet released further details, noting that it is still too early in the investigation.

The deceased individuals have been identified as a 55-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman, both of whom were Polish nationals. The type of weapon used in the shooting has not been disclosed.
Police officers, technicians, and prosecutors are currently working at the scene. Evidence is being collected, witnesses are being questioned, and CCTV footage is being reviewed to better understand what led to the incident. Unofficial sources mentioned that shouting was heard before the gunshots.
Sub-inspector Aleksandra Freus confirmed that investigators are not considering the involvement of any third party at this stage. The investigation remains active as authorities work to determine the motive behind the event.
