Russia Must Face Consequences
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Russian President Vladimir Putin is unlikely to change course unless there’s a real price to pay for the invasion. “Puti¬n doesn’t alter his conduct if he doesn’t feel any negative impact for his behavior,” he said. “Due to war, Russia should suffer losses.”

Support for Stronger Measures
Amid ongoing Russian attacks and belligerent rhetoric, Zelenskyy called the moves clear signals that Moscow seeks to prolong the conflict. He said this was reason for “new sanctions, tougher sanctions.” He also thanked the United States and European countries backing tougher measures, saying that only firm and unified pressure would force Russia to make peace.
