Ukraine Uses 15 Homemade Weapons in Port Strike

Zelenskyy called it a combined effort, pairing long-range sanctions pressure with homegrown weaponry. He thanked the soldiers who carried out the strike for their precision, along with the engineers and manufacturers behind Ukraine's growing arsenal, saying their work had genuinely strengthened the country's military capabilities. According to Zelenskyy, this marked the first time so many different systems had been deployed together in one operation. The list included the Palianytsia, Peklo, Bars, Long Neptune, Mich, Fire Point, Ramzay, Sichen, Trust, Khariok, Bober, Liutyi, and Dovbush systems, all Ukrainian-built missiles or aerial drones. Two seaborne drones, named Sargan and Mamai, were also part of the assault. Zelenskyy said the strike damaged several Russian ships that had been sheltering in Novorossiysk bay, among them the Admiral Essen and Admiral Makarov frigates, along with a large landing ship and a corvette. Facilities helping bankroll Russia's war effort were also hit, he added, arguing that Ukraine's response was justified and that ending the war remained entirely in Russia's hands.

Military analysts note that Ukraine has fast become one of the world's leading players in unmanned warfare, with other nations now studying the knowledge and experience Kyiv has picked up along the way.
