A Shared Stance on Ukraine
Duda remembered the joint visit he made with Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda to Kyiv in the early days of Russia's full-fledged invasion as a key moment in signifying regional support of Ukraine.

"You didn't have to think twice," Duda said, praising Nausėda's quick backing. "We stood there together, showing the world what good neighboring relations with Ukraine really are," he said.

Strengthening Bilateral Ties
In times of crisis, the shared experience has become the stronghold of the historical partnership of Poland and Lithuania as well," the outgoing Polish president added. The continued partnership is crucial not only for the security of the region but also for a united European approach to Ukraine, he said.

Duda made the remarks as he prepares to leave the presidency, leaving behind a legacy of active support for Ukraine and tight regional alliances.
