Poland Retain EuroVolley Title and Qualify for Olympics

Poland's men's volleyball team have successfully defended their European Championship crown, beating France 3-1 in the EuroVolley final in Milan on Saturday. The victory also books their place at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

The final ended with Poland taking the match 3-1 against France. That result secured the gold medal and, just as importantly, direct qualification for the Los Angeles Olympics, so the team will not need to go through any extra qualifying rounds.

Another Chapter in Poland's Volleyball Story
This is Poland's third European title. The team first won the tournament in 2009, then again in 2023, and now in 2026. Since Poland were also champions in 2023, the latest triumph means they have kept the trophy in their hands.

Gold has not been the only color to show up in the team's collection over the years. The men's national side has also picked up five silver and four bronze medals at the European Championships, which shows just how steady they have been at this level.
