No Survivors in Russian Passenger Plane Crash in Amur

A tragic plane crash in Russia's far eastern Amur region has claimed the lives of all 49 people on board, according to reports. The aircraft, an An-24 operated by Angara Airlines, had gone missing from radar during its final approach to Tynda, a town near the Chinese border.

The flight was traveling the Khabarovsk–Blagoveshchensk–Tynda route when it disappeared from radar screens. Search teams later found the burning wreckage, confirming that there were no survivors.

Details of the Crash and Victims
The regional governor, Vasily Orlov, confirmed that the aircraft carried 43 passengers, including five children, and six crew members. All were killed in the crash.

The plane belonged to Angara Airlines, a Siberia-based carrier. The local emergencies ministry had earlier announced that the aircraft had lost contact while nearing Tynda, its destination in the Amur region.

Authorities are expected to begin a formal investigation into the cause of the crash.
