Background and Court Decision
Wróblewska had explained the sacking by stating that the museum job was causing financial issues, as costs ballooned and since it was now behind schedule. Kostro claimed that the museum's projects of this magnitude were frequently overrun and pointed to a ruling by the Supreme Audit Office (NIK), which said there was no corruption in budgeting.

Kostro, in a post on Facebook, said he was glad to hear the ruling called the reversal the undoing of an "illegal decision." He noted that the Ministry of Culture has the right to appeal the decision.

Political Reactions and Next Steps
Her decision was criticised as political, an accusation she denied, saying At a meeting held in Warsaw following her action of removing director Pawel Machcewicz from his job -- sparking controversy and reigniting concerns that Wróblewska may be enforcing political censorship. Furthermore, Civic Coalition MP Krzysztof Mieszkowski accused Wróblewska of implementing her own "cultural policy". She lost her ministerial job in a reshuffle in July.

The Ministry of Culture said it would decide on a possible appeal after receiving the written reasoning for the decision.
