Poland's women's volleyball team delivered a dramatic five-set comeback victory over China on Wednesday to secure their place in the Nations League semifinal. Ranked No. 3 in the world, the Poles fought back to win 17-25, 25-20, 19-25, 25-19, 15-12 in a tense quarterfinal played in Łódź.

Comeback Sparked by Key Substitution
Despite the home crowd advantage, Poland struggled early in the match. They lost the first and third sets and entered the fourth set trailing 2-1. With poor attacking performance and defensive weaknesses, the team looked in trouble.

Coach Stefano Lavarini's decision to bring in outside hitter Paulina Damaske proved crucial. Her energy helped stabilize the team, and star players Magdalena Stysiak and Agnieszka Korneluk responded with renewed focus. Poland took the fourth set 25-19 and carried that momentum into the final tiebreaker, holding their nerve to seal the win 15-12.
